Well, someone has to throw a wet towel on the party of praise and it might as well be me. The photograph has good elements, but used in the wrong way. It is a little too composed and there is not enough animation in the human figure. If she was coming toward the camera the image would have more life. Also, the 60/40 composition of the foreground to background is a little weak. Cropping up into the middle of the second flower from the right would add a little more visual tension and rebalance the the composition constructing a more dynamic relationship between the figure and the sky.

Is there a reason why you wanted so much conversion distortion in this image?

I cannot find anything I do not like about this photograph. Dead on. Congratulations.

I like the contrast and texture, it could be a little more open in the deeper shadows and I would like to see the trees with more foreground and less sky. Maybe cut into the clouds just a bit and leave some open sky in the composition.

to do this ethereal image justice. I almost didn't look at this, Oliver, am I glad I did. This image large is terrific, I would love to see it as a 30" print. Just spectacular. The subtle tones are breathtaking. Congratulations.

I love the way the body position of the skateboarder reverse mimics the crane in the background. Great balance, no pun intended.

but the image, when viewed large, looks like there is some camera movement. I am also having a hard time finding a prime point of focus. Consider opening the shadows about 5% for a little more definition.

Not to gang up on you, but the silhouette of the angel is diminished by the trees. You would have been better off to get some shadow detail in the image by using a fill flash or multiple bracketed exposures and doing a layered image.
