Dual Range 50mm Summicron??
-
Add me to the list please TAN. Thanks.
-
R9 has an exposure dial lock and a film counter on the top plate.
-
Meter and shutter speeds accuracy, battery chamber cleanness, viewfinder brightness, rangefinder alignment (horizontal and vertical), Leica seal on lens mount and film advancing smoothness.
-
I have used the 50mm f1.4 with my Nikon SP. High contrast but not that color rich as compared to 50mm Summilux or Summicron. But it is VERY sharp.
-
50/2 Nikkor: earlier chrome versions, the later chrome with black f/stop ring, and the early collapsible version. Again, one of the best lenses for LTM.

Will, Billingham has made a bag specially for Leica. It fits a M body with lens attached and also 2 others lenses. Size is not big and it's pleasure to carry around.
-
Sarawoot, try the Contax 135 f2. I am sure you would like it.
-
I choose (4).
-
Under what impression?? Leica meter inaccurate?? Have you tried one before??
-
Just check the Leica Pocket Book. It should be black anodised.
-
Tommy, you are right.
-
What about this one??
-
The original black paint 50mm Summicron does have a black chrome focuing ring. I also have one of these lenses myself. Mine is second version.
-
Yes, same good.
-
Hexanon 50/2.4?? What is that??
-
The most difficult part is the film loading. Others are pretty straight-forward.
-
Probably $ 700-800 range.
-
I remember a Chrome original MP was traded at around US$ 9,000 a year ago through the auction site.
-
The old rangefinder lenses are MUCH BETTER than the modern non-AI or later AI, AIS version.
-
Sharpest at f8-f11 range. Hair counting from 5 meters way.
-
A - Aperture Priority,
P - Fully Programmed,
M - All Manual

Have you used the old VC Meter?? I have one for 3 years. Mounted on M3 and M4. Never scratch. It's shorter in length than the Leica MR-4 meter so possible contact to the camera's top plate is less. It depends on how you mount the meter to the hot shoe. If you really that care about potential scratch, put some protective material on the top plate or just use a separate hand-held meter.
