Lovely blue drama, you live in Toronto Yuri?
I'd be happy to buy you a drink and talk shop ;)

Hi Zack,
Thanks again for the flattering comments...it's interesting to hear that I might inspire someone when I spend so much time in awe of what my favorite photographers accomplish on a regular basis...
I am looking to open my eyes a little wider this year and try to build on what I've learned so far...and make a few leaps into places I've not been to yet, it should be entertaining to say the least ;)
Cheers

Hi Gerry!
Thanks for dropping in on my photos, I appreciate your time and comments...
Beautiful, beautiful light on Tania's face, and wonderful expression...is this the full frame or did you crop it like this?

I think this is one of the most impressive photographs I've ever seen...
I can't get past just enjoying the detail and colour and composition, and the simple fact that you managed to do this so well...
Bravo !

A polariser will have the most effect at a 90 degree angle to the sunlight...when you capture a large portion of the sky with a wide angle lens the effect of the polariser will vary across the frame due to the different angles captured...so to minimize this effect you would want to use a longer focal length to capture less of the sky...

Hi Panya,
You've uploaded a lot of beautiful shots today, hard to pick which I like the best...you seem to have a keen eye for rythmic compositions and a good feel for contrast and detail...
In this shot it's nice to see some good detail in the shadows...I imagine that I would try to shoot this as two exposures and merge them in PS to extend the dynamic range...an idea that I've been looking for an excuse to try...
Great shot as it is, nice work !

it's cool the way it is...it would have been really cool if the dog had looked into the camera...

Maybe crop the photo so that the last round bit is still showing and then clone that out...to leave a little room to balance the image nicely...
