Lusna slika!
Skoda se mi zdi le, da ni desni rob malenkost bolj desno.

I'd preferthe moon two stories higher.
Great colours, nice picture!

Lusna slika!
Kak purist bi se verjetno zgrazal, toda na tvojem mestu bi brez pomislekov poradiral svetilko z levega roba.

Michael,
Thank you!
I only realized I missed the axis symmetry a bit when got the slides developed. It was so dark in the church I couldn't see much in the viewfinder.
There's also a bad grain problem, it was a 2 minutes exposure with a cheap film (Sensia). I should probably also do something about colour balance, it shifted into red, but unfortunately haven't found anything from Fuji on colour shift with long exposures in Sensia.
Anyway, I'll reshoot it with Astia.
Best regards,
Miha

Another view of old church in Pleterje Charterhouse.

Judy,
Thank you very much!

Pleterje charterhouse was established in 1403 by Counts of Celje. It
was handed over to Jesuits in 1593 and disbanded in 1772.
Chartusian order reacquired the property and rebuilt the monastery in
1903. Of the few remaining buildings of the old monastery, the most
significant one is the old Gothic church, now open to the public. It
closely follows Chartusian order's strict rules.
The picture, an almost classical view down the nave trough the choir
screen, was taken some half an hour after sunset on a rainy day.

Nice photo, I like it!
It'd be even better IMHO, if the stairs weren't cropped on the right side.

Alex,
It's a great photo! Anyway, it remains me a bit of the last one I posted here at photo.net. I miss a certain punch in it. I know, it's your work and it's absolutely up to your aesthetics, but have you considered converting it into B&W? It may give you a way to increase contrast between softness of fog and geometrical shape of sunlit columns. A warm and sharp yellow vs. mellow foggy blue would work even better, but some serious filtering when taking picture would be needed IMHO to achieve this and preserve shadow details.
Please, don' get me wrong, I really like the picture!

Another image of Ljubljana city centre.
Taken at midday in summer with a polarizer, handheld. Colours were sosaturated (although unmanipulated), they look almost psychadelic. Pinkchurch, green poplar trees, dark blue sky, snow white clouds andcreamy facade in the right...
After months of deliberation I converted it into B&W. -
Rina, thank you!
I'd prefer to upload bigger pictures, but unfortunately I'm severely limited with webspace available to me at photo.net. I'm way over my quota even with this tiny images.
I'm a guest here, Paypal doesn't support my country (supposedly too small market to be profitable) and there's no other way to sign up.
Best regards,

17th century Franciscan church (of Mary's annunciation) dominates asquare in the very centre of Ljubljana, just next to Tromostovjebridges. It used to be of orange and red colour, giving the city aslight touch of Mediterranean, although snow covered Alps can beeasily seen behind its belltowers.
Unfortunately, it was repainted in two shades of pink few years ago asa part of a quite controversial restoration.
Late afternoon sun shining horizontally on the facade somehow restoreschurch's former warm look which I much prefer. -

Another picture taken with the ancient gear.

Rina,
It didn't make me dizzy at all when I was taking it. On the contrary, my neck would have hurt if I hadn't had a waist level finder with me. It's taken straight into ceiling!
Take a look at this one.
It's the same staircase. The yellowish structure in the upper part of the picture is actually the inner ring from the B&W picture with the pillars in corners and the bottom right corner of this picture is one of the columns of the outher ring from the B&W one.
-
Prefer this one.

Ta most mi je v?eč, od kar sem ga prvič videl!
