The so called ZF lens is just Japanese OEM lens. You cannot compare it with the real and
original German made CZ lens.

AFS 18-200/3.5-5.6VRII is a very good alternative.

This is not a normal consumer/normal retail item. I think you should contact the sales
department of Shriro HK first.

503CW is the last model of V-series :(

I am using Gitzo 1 series which is solid enough for a Hassy. Gitzo is expensive but it is really
worth to buy.

The APS D-SLR is so popular.
I shoot less than two rolls of 120 a year.
I won't give it up as I am waiting for the "budget" digital back available later.

The perfect one should be a real Hasselblad camera AF body with 6x6 medium format sensor
and a real German AF CZ lens !

Yes, it is DX lens. It works on FF SLR from 28mm up. However, likes other G lens, it won't
work on F3.

Here are the samples taken by Nikon AFS 70-200/2.8 at various focal length and f/ stops, for
those who are interested in the lens as a quick reference.

My conclusion:
Don't expect too much from the coming Ziess/Nikon mount lens (in fact, OEM from Japan).
I think the Nikon premium prime or zoom can do the job well.
AF 28/1.4, AF 60/2.8 micro, AF 85/1.4, AFS 70-200/2.8 etc.

Gup, here is the compressed picture:

Hi Gup,
I bought it from camera shop for about US$75 but it only costs about US$35-70 on eBay.
D2H offers aperture priority using the adapter and focusing index in the VF helps a lot. I
enjoy using this combo for shooting but not for moving objects.
The difference in PQ between these two lens isn't big. Therefore, I suggest you keep your
2.8
Hope this help.

Nikon camera body."

Hi Alejandro Keller,
full size samples are also available in the link.

Hi Lex,
The weather was not good and the day was full of smoke, I don't think the light changing too
much during testing.

armando roldan,
I want to show some samples for those who are interested in the coming new Zeiss/Nikon MF
lens. The samples are not for reference only. If you are not interested in it, just ignore it ! I
don't understand why you are so negative. Anything wrong ? Why don't complain to photo.net
and ask them to remove this thread and only allow you to post threads !

They were mounted on a D2H (special Hasseblad - Nikon adaptor was used).
Both lens show very good picture quality across the whole range of aperture.

I found it very inconvenient to use the self-timer of D70s. The user needs to switch the main
dial into timer mode after shooting. What is the best way to shoot with the self-time mode ?
Buy a separate cable or the remote control. Thanks for your advise.

When I am using a Canon Prima AS-1 water-proof camera in a swimming pool or at the
beach.

I have a 2GB and a 4GB MD used in my D2h and D70s respectively. I don't see any problem
with assocated with them. I satisfied the MD wih my D2h and I don't see any problem in
high speed shooting as the buffer is bigger enough.
The fast CF card is almost x2 more expensive than the MD.
If you drop a MD onto the ground, it will be broken. If you drop a camera onto the ground,
it also will be broken. Just take care of all your computer equipment, it will be fine.
For example, a bowl will be broken if you drop it onto the ground. Is it mean you won't use
it because it is breakable ?
Hong Kong Airport Nikon D3x or D3s in 3 and 1/2 hours

There are only two electrical shop in Airport, Fortress and Leica and most likely they will sell the goods with official list price only.
I will rather suggest you go to Maritime Square located at Tsing Yi Station. It is only one stop from HK Airport Express Line which is only about 10 mins. journey from Airport. There are many reputable chain stores like Broadway, Chun Yuen, Citicall, Fortress, have branches here. I believe they can offer better discount rate than that in the Airport. All of them should accept credit cards payment, like Visa and Mastercard. You can search the web about their branch telephone, call them before you leave US and ask them for the stock availability. I am not sure the current street price of D3s and D3x but I believe D3s should cost you around HK$36K-37K. Also, you can get some cheap gift together with the purchase, like screen protector sticker, tripod, camera bag or even a CF card.
You can check check the mall directory here.
