Len: yes please, more details would be very welcome. I use a 20d and am not sure how to check the level of saturation on the camera settings. Any help? I am also a huge advocate of getting stuff right in-camera.</p>

<p>I just got an urgent email from a friend travelling around Vietnam. She's only just bought her first Canon DSLR and her first circular polariser. She emailed 'All photos using polariser filter are coming out blue. What am I doing wrong?'</p>

<p>I have suggested changing the white balance to shade/cloudy/fluorescent but can anyone think of other reasons why her images are coming out blue? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.</p>

<p>I use a Toshiba Satellite Pro and would like to calibrate my screen so that colours look the same on screen and when printed by Photobox. I have tried to follow the instructions that I found through the help guide on my machine but I'm not sure that's good enough.</p>

<p>Do I need to buy a purpose-made device e.g. color munki or can I take my laptop to a lab and have them do that for me? Any help gratefully received. Thanks.</p>

<p>I have about 300 image from an event that were taken with four different cameras and I would like to put the images in the order they were taken. However the clocks on the cameras were not working correctly and therefore I can't just sort the files using the 'Date when created' field.</p>

<p>Is there a software that will allow me to show all the thumbnails then click and drag the various files where I want them so that I can then rename them from 1 onwards so they are named in the order I want them? I am using PS Elements but it doesn't seem to work.</p>

<p>I am looking for advice regarding what sites you would recommend using to sell photographs (weddings and portraits). My pricing structure has a sliding discount sale i.e. the more prints the client buys, the cheaper they get i.e. one will cost £1, two will cost £1.80, three will cost £1.65, etc, with some prints being free e.g. buy four 20 x 16 and get a fifth one free.</p>

<p>Does anyone know of any websites that allow you to build such a pricing structure? I find that this method encourages clients to buy more (for example for relatives they hadn't planned on buying for) that a straightforward x% discount which will apply to the first and the twentieth print equally.</p>

<p>Hello there, I need a female model for a studio shoot at college next week (farnborough tech in Hampshire, UK) but the friend I usually ask cannot make it. Does anyone know of good websites or other resources where I can look? I know there are many in the US but I am after one that will let me look ideally by geography to find someone local. Also, I am not allowed to pay the model so a resource used by amateurs or models working under TFP would be great. Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>Everyone, I have just bought a second hand 28-135 f3.5 IS from ffordes to see whether this will help by giving a longer zoom range than I had while giving me a decent aperture.</p>

<p>I am going to play with it this weekend. If I then think I still need the longer focal lenght, increased aperture and improved glass, I will look at the 70-200 again. But right now I'm looking to see whether I can get away with spending less. Thanks for all the input. best,</p>

<p>Thanks to everyone for the valuable feedback. here are some points to answer some of the comments you made:</p>

<p>- i do have an 85mm 1.8 and I did use it. However indoors I found that it was not long enough from the back of the cerimony room to do the 'kiss shot' and other close ups (my partner was at the front so she took those and we were OK)</p>

<p>- the 2.8 aperture would allow me to work indoors without flash when you have some natural light</p>

<p>- I would like a zoom because when you are outside, shooting the guests, they are invariable milling around and you need different focal lenghts and sometimes zooming with your feet is not enough in these circumstances</p>

<p>- I am thinking that maybe the 24 - 105 3.5 is a more suitable choice but I know nothing about this lens apart from the specs which seem suitable for the needs I expressed above</p>

<p>Hello everyone, after a long time drooling after the Canon Lens EF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM I am seriously thinking of buying it because in just one lens it gives you the convenience of a long-range zoom, great optics and fantastic aperture to cope with low lights and achieve shallow DOF.<br>

I just wanted to know how much the people out there who own it use it in indoor situations such as studio shoots and wedding cerimonies. I was doing a wedding yesterday and the longest lens I used (on my 20d so not full frame) was my fixed 85mm.<br>

So before I part with over £1,000 I just wanted to know how much this lens gets used by portrait and wedding photographers.</p>
