Hi Kim, this is a lovely shot. I know you will do well with your portraits. I think photographing people is very rewarding as well as challenging. I hope to give it a try someday.

This is an interesting shot Mary. I like the way trees are represented in three different ways. .solid and substantial in the front, lacy shadows on the house and as a delicate backdrop in the rear. Very nicely captured.

Hi Kim, i love both versions of your lovely granddaughter. I must say I am very impressed with the b&w conversion. The tones are superb. You have done a masterful job with the lighting (thanks for the tips) and the capture of her expression and the twinkle in her eyes. This is a great portrait.
