Muchas gracias, Mario, por los comentarios. La verdad es que la sangria de PN hace que un solo comentario se agradezca mucho. Aqui hice bastantes fotos diferentes con el tema de la gota como principal objeto (tanto con lampara como sin lampara, con o sin profundidad de campo). La verdad es que me plantee mucho el dejar o no este foco, pues si bien SI que restaba atencion, en cierta forma tambien me parecia que aportaba la atmosfera y localizacion especifica del lugar, requerido para que no fuese una gota cualquiera, sino la GOTA de AUSCHWITZ.
Al final, el peso sombrio -ominoso- de este foco, y la fuerza ineludible que tiene en la foto -incluso con una visualizacion difusa- es tambien un reflejo de la sensacion de opresion que encuentras en el campo de exterminio, donde el unico aspecto de piedad (que intentaba reflejar con esta gota) es aplastado por algo irracional (espino, foco).

Martyn and Pascal, thanks a lot for your comments! I agree that the picture lacks a lot of contrast. It was very early morning and these were the first rays of light that appeared behind the castle. My choice (and I guess I was wrong) it was just to leave the misty atmosphere of the moment, instead of applying a greater contrast to the place.
Pascal, thank you for your suggestion. It has a much more impact than my choice. I guess I'll be working a bit more on it!

Creo que es muy elegante y perfectamente resuelta. Los tonos, la luz, la composicion en general son fantasticos. El tema, ultra-original. El marco, sencillo y efectivo. Me gusta muchisimo

Not actually! I was just coming back from Limoges and I stopped by the resting area of the Belvedere :). I was lucky that the sun was setting at that time, and therefore the light was soft enough not to create hard shadows. I just took some close-ups of the city walls, without any tripod or anything else (so no panorama, sorry). I have applied an extra saturation and some light warming filter. I did just a soft enhancement of blacks and darkening of whites. I guess that an extra contrast would have sort of spoiled the soft feeling of the sunset, in a way. Thanks for commenting!
