Not actually! I was just coming back from Limoges and I stopped by the resting area of the Belvedere :). I was lucky that the sun was setting at that time, and therefore the light was soft enough not to create hard shadows. I just took some close-ups of the city walls, without any tripod or anything else (so no panorama, sorry). I have applied an extra saturation and some light warming filter. I did just a soft enhancement of blacks and darkening of whites. I guess that an extra contrast would have sort of spoiled the soft feeling of the sunset, in a way. Thanks for commenting!

Martyn and Pascal, thanks a lot for your comments! I agree that the picture lacks a lot of contrast. It was very early morning and these were the first rays of light that appeared behind the castle. My choice (and I guess I was wrong) it was just to leave the misty atmosphere of the moment, instead of applying a greater contrast to the place.

Pascal, thank you for your suggestion. It has a much more impact than my choice. I guess I'll be working a bit more on it!

Hi, thanks for your comments! I live in Barcelona, but my company is based in Geneve - hence the photos I took lately in switzerland!
