Hi Tina,
your picture is a nice daughter-mother image. The backlight works very well, just - is the soft focus intentional? I am missing a bit of contrast in your image. See the attached picture with a bit more contrast. Maybe, the lack of contrast comes from the scanning - is the original negative different?
Also, which focal length are you using? Nevertheless, a nice photo!
