  1. I think my question has almost nothing to do with prediction through. As we all KNOW 70-200 AFS VR is out. As we all KNOW it's

    the AFS 80-200 or AFD 80-200's upgrade. We also KNOW 70-200 has no

    a-ring. Keep AFD or AFS is the big question for all of us. If Nikon can olny keep one of them I also agree with keeping AFD. However,

    if Nikon can keep the MF system for ever they might keep the AFS

    for good. Drop a little bit price, I wish ^_^ (highly unlikely)

  2. Depends on what kind of lens you want to use.

    AF D&G ---> N80

    AI, AIS ---> Fm3a (FM3a could not use AFG lens. Can use standard TTL flash mode only.)

    AF, AI, AIS ---> Get a used N90x or N70 (N70 can't use G type lens)

  3. Wow, slow down a little bit. I need to digest the cool parts. So many of them, I almost faint:)

    Seriously, will F5 be the last film based pro camera made by Nikion? Any idea when will we see F6?

  4. If you only want to take portraits one 80-200/2.8 is enough. You will use ~100mm all the time. One 50/1.4 is good for low light.

    17-35/2.8 will complete the focal length but you won't use it very often. 28-70 and 35-70 is just repeat the focal lenghth. I don't think you want to add them. Although they are excellent lense too.

  5. Another vote for 17-35 f/2.8. This is a very good lense and is of

    the exact focal length that you need. Don't believe the stupid lense

    test by some moron web site. This lense beats the crap out of canon's

    17-35 f/2.8 and will match some prime f/2.8 wide angle nikkors.
