Dark pictures on computer in Nikon Posted October 6, 2002 I took some pictures with the Nikon 995 Coolpix. They look fine in the camera's monitor. But when I loaded them on the computer...they were all much darker than they look in the monitor. So, I printed a couple of them at the camera store to ask their advice...and the pictures were fine. Do you know why the pictures are so much darker on a computer? I'm using Windows XP...and I have a windows viewer to view the images (I also viewed them in PowerPoint...they looked the same). I can't figure out why they look so dark or what to do about them. I don't want to lighten every image...then they won't print correctly. Thanks, Vickie
