nef file format in Nikon Posted September 25, 2002 nikon 5700 shooting in NEF opened in photoshop gives mottled magenta in blue skies at 8" x 10" size printed on Epson 1280 at high res. WHY??? Other areas in the image (whites, yellow walls ... were fine). A fine JPEG gve a better sky.
