    I like this image, and in my humble opinion it doesn't need a different crop.. without the ground the tree on the right is senseless and the imagine becomes flat. This shot is nice for the dramatic lightning and because is deep: cutting the ground you 'll lose both. About the frame just keep the tickness constant, IMHO (again) or black to dramatize or nothing at all to let the sky "open". What about a good BW conversion?

    Dear Robert, it's a wonderful landscape! I can't resist to suggest you a little thumb for a BW conversion... once made on the original file it should be GREAT! Then print it on a Durst Lambda and.. sell it! (By the way.. any italian roots?) ;-)
