Maybe it was taken on the moon ;-)
Or maybe it is God's Petzl Zoom (head lamp) we are seeing ;-)
Nice shot, especially appreciated by the likes of us who have seen this for real. At what time of the night did you take it? Love the stars.

. . . which works for me.
And who cares if his ankle hurts. Geeez.

Recognized it straight away ;-)
Not a new idea, of course - but then what is? - and (very) nicely executed. I also like the pics on your web site.

My first venture into digital night time photography

...it's good enough for me ;-)
A truly GREAT shot. I am raising the temperature by giving it +7 / +7.

. . . both on the frame and in the picture the lettering *very* much gets in the way. Otherwise cool. Very.

. . . a *very* interesting suggestion, Dejan. I think I shall attack that the next time I am there. Yeah, very interesting. Cheers.

Ah, well . . .
But I do know where you live, Allan ;-)

... to out P/S the little Jesus, my hands are tied, Adrian... ;-)
And I am not so sure if I agree, with what you say. I am inclined to agree though, that he is perhaps too white. Maybe the next time I walk past there, he might have received a coat of dark varnish . . .
Thanks for your comment, and best wishes. - R.Z.

Very good points those. I am reluctant to do too much "painting" in P/S but I shall give it a go. It's sure worth a try. Thanks again.

There can be no other explanation ;-) LOL

That puts a slightly different perspective on the photograph, Henrique, but you did ask for a critique. Keep on "macroing" ;-)

I mean grrrrrreat. This picture actually moves me.
Magnificent. In EVERY way, right down to the positioning of the credit line, which actually improves the composition.
I have no choice but to give it 7 / 7.

A truly awsome shot in every way. 'nuff said.

...which the picture I commented on was not. Anyway, you have your opinion, I have mine. No need to go into a huff, just because you did not agree with/like someone elses comment.

Not 100% sold on the framing, though. Nice all the same. Has a sort of "historical" feel to it.

Because I really cannot see any reason for having taken the picture the way you did. It conveys nothing apart from that it is a perhaps nice dog that happened to close it's eyes at the moment you pressed the button.
There is no composition nor concept to speak of, and, with all the best intentions, I just cannot see what you are trying to say with this picture. Just a happy, "random" snap this, that may mean a lot to you but not to the viewer. Not to me anyway. Sorry.

. . . in an M. R. James kind of way. Quite surreal. Love it.
I wonder how much the house is going for? ;-)
