This is one of the many pictures I took with my trusty little olympus
mju before becoming a "gearaholic" I rediscovered some of these "early
pictures" as I was in the process of scanning my slides and I thought
some of them were worth the attention even if they were shot with a
100$ camera;)

This is another shot from my trip to Patagonia. Not a very special
picture but I liked the light: I woke up at 4 AM in the freezing cold
to get this one.

Some of the reviewers wanted to see a picture with more light... this one was
taken about one houtr later after the one with the first rays of light. Which one
do you like best? Comments welcome.

I like to take pictures of dead trees and this one was quite appealing
to me in its desolate surroundings. It made the place look like it was
the "end of the world"

Patagonia was a very interesting place to take pictures because the
light was so rich, changing all the time. This one was take from the
tent. peeking out after a heavy storm.

I have spent a few month in patagonia and this is one of my favorite
picture from this trip. We had to way several days to get the right
light, climbing each morning from the camp to the point of view at 4
am. And finally thi morning we were rewarded.

What a great tribute to the late Adventure Photographer!! I know almost every picture he took and has to sat down and take a deep breath when I saw yours... I wish I could walk in his steps like you and go to places he's been to repeat some of the pictures that have inspired me.
Definetly great. God bless Galen and Barbara Rowell
