I left on purpose the eyes underexposed for a more dramatic dark

Absolutelly leave the carving where it is. It makes the picture, it is part of the many questions coming up looking at the photo: who did the sign? what about the kid is thinking of? who the shadows in the up left inside belong to? For sure the best picture of your portfolio. I would have just tried to frame it...

Excellent cropping, I like the light also. But.... I've noticed this picture only the third time I browsed your thumbnails... I guess it's a optical effect but this so bright picture doesn't come out among the others more darken pics. I would love to see it black framed. ///A
