I guess the black background is used to enhance the contrast and bring forth the subject., however the overall proportion is sort of unbiased. The light is excellent, maybe the red channel should have been attenuated a little bit. The angle gives a perfect perspective of the drawing on her face, which I guess was the photographer's main focus in taking this shot. I also like the contrast between the conic shadow spot on the right and the looming hat "tentacle" on the left. Overall, a definite yes vote.

I love the idea combination between her outbursting youth and the cemetery. She's great! Guess you should share more of her and your photographic skills...
