<p>I recived the answer from Sigma. The Sigma tele converters x1.4 and x2 are compatible with the mentioned lense, but only in MF mode.</p>

<p>There is an ambiguos data on the offical Sigma internet site (<a href="http://www.sigmaphoto.com/" target="_blank">www.sigmaphoto.com</a> ). In the Tele Converter matching list (<a href="http://www.sigma-photo.co.jp/english/acc/condaitr.htm" target="_blank">www.sigma-photo.co.jp/english/acc/condaitr.htm</a> ) is stated that the zoom lens Sigma APO 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM can be used with the tele converters 1.4x and also 2.0x (with manual focus). In the lens chart respectivily (<a href="http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_chart.asp" target="_blank">www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_chart.asp</a> ) is stated that this same lens can`t be used with the tele converters.
