monochrome effect and soft focusing not effective imo

What would it be like if bottom of picture (too dark) were cropped out, and sunset/icicles were the only subject? The icicles themselves are beautiful.

Lighting and coloration are lovely! It's like a wonderful dream you don't want to wake up from.

I'd rather have seen the drab version than the excessively Photoshopped version.

I can't ever resist a cat shot, but despite this, it's unusual and brings out the individuality of the cat...nice.

seems to be copied and derivative, nothing added to existing photography/graphics

This is a macro of a pretty small plant. I liked the pattern manifested in overlapping fronds. I stopped adjusting color at the point of turning the sky cyan, my favorite blue.

great coloring and composition, with intriguing little artifacts.

Beautiful, grainy photo. Reminds of Satyajit Ray's shots.

wish I was a wolf...really lovely

Thanx for feedback from all of you.
I hardly ever do portraits, or b/w, and am just learning. Your input is valuable and appreciated.

An iguana is cool
An iridescent jewel
Thanks for showing his beauty!!!

focus and DOF are very effective in communicating speed and the momentary feel of shot. I would not change a thing.

It's good to take risks, but the harsh tones and discordant blurring jangles the eyes and nerves. The effects sometimes seem to be for their own sake and don't develop the subject.

Macro taken Canon G2 and macro lens.
Comments and critiques would be appreciated...thanks!
