i really like everything here... composition, point of view, color, expression, styling... the only think i really dislike is her eyemakeup. it's ultra distracting to me.
  1. Hi all... just wanted to say that no, in the fashion context this photo has not been photoshopped "to full bloom"... actually, at this point it has not been photoshopped at all. Only cropped a little bit. Thanks for comments. :)
  2. this would have been really cool about 20 years ago. and yes, the 80's are back to some extent, but this doesn't look modern... the vantage point also doens't make her look her best, shooting from above, her legs are severly shortened. i would also like it better if we didn't actually see the spotlight behind her, it would be better if her body was directly in front of me, for me anyway.

I respect the effort here, and the technical quality is good, sharp and clear, though maybe a little too hot in a couple spots, but this is not a great photo for a few reasons: the curtains are not nice and with the wall, they cheapen the photo. Second, she looks very unnatural and her body position is not flattering to her best assets. Her legs bent directly into the camera make them look really short. And the dress hides everything, and compleatly flattens her chest. The arm and hand bent on her face looks broken from this angle, and the reflection of the lights in her eyes gives her that deer in the headlights look. I would reccomend checking out some of the FHM, GQ and Maxim girl photosessions... if you're not already. Good try though.

Just super! I love this photo! The only tiny thing that kinda bugs me is the reflection off of something in the bottom right... I would have just burned that a little. But the tones and DOF are amazing. You have a great eye.

Hi there... it seems no one really answered your question... I love the cross processing. Is it with velvia? This image really sticks out from the rest of them for me, and it's exactly those cool greens and blues and high contrast that I like which is coming directly from the processing. So I would say, great choice! And beautiful work.
