I THINK I know why I like this picture so much- it is because the propeller seems to be moving into the right part of the picture: it is actually either coming out or starting to hide. Plus, there is a lot of contrast of shapes- the roundness of the propeller with the structure of the boat. Oh! And I almost forgot- THE TEXTURES ARE INCREDIBLE!

I actually didn´t wait too long before taking this shot. I just knew that the best time to get the perfect shadows is around midday, when the sky reaches an absolutely beautiful dark blue color that you can only find in the high Andes in South America. The city in which I took this picture, Arequipa is famous for having the bluest and most beautiful skies all year long. They contrast with the white buildings, that are made of a volcanic rock, abundant in the surrounding of Arequipa.

This definitely is my favorite sunset picture in PHOTO.NET. The best part is the center of the picture, with the brightest spot of the sky as background for the camel silhouttes. Congrats!

Congratulations on this beautiful picture.It really looks like they´re dancing. I love the deep blue color of the water which contrasts with the white on the swans plumage.
