Really sweet. Great light.
The suggestions to alter the pose (45-degrees?), or loosen her posture would completely change the mood and design of this image. This picture should be evaluated for what it is, and not how any other individual photographer's style is different from this photographer's.

"If this image upsets anyone I suggest that you ask yourself why."
This does "upset" me. Why? Because it seems to be a 'stolen' image, exploiting this man as some sort of exhibit. I'm sure, from your exposition, that you meant no offense to the subject or the audience. But, the effect is the same. The photograph is used by the photographer for his own means, purposes and self-glorifications, almost as trophy. There is no usage of 'disturbing' imagery toward the end of making social change or enlightening the public. These types of pictures, of people obviously considered by the photographers as "unfortunates" on the street are neither social statements nor art. Perhaps it's just me who doesn't "get it."

That's not what 'they' look like.

Clean and classic. But, you destroyed the illusion by telling us the limes are fake!

Superb imagery, but i have questions....
Is this a composite? If not, how is there so much light on the near (shadow) side of
the gentleman's face? Hard to imagine you could have dodged so much to retrieve
that much information/detail....
Either way, neat picture.

Gorgeous. And, i don't even like dogs so much....

A beautiful image. I do, however, agree with the "dirty feet" commentary.
However, to Walter: "T&A?" Can you not discern the difference between porn and art? Are you so sheltered and puritanical that ANY nudity is offensive to you? I don't see how this image is any more prurient than those of renaissance painters. Do you criticize them, as well, or is it related to the media used?
Thank you, to the photographer, for sharing the technique. Refreshing.

What's that line? "The student has become the master?" You may have taken inspiration from Mark Tucker, but your imagery is all yours and it's exceptional.

You actually took the time to shoot this with a 645?

Yes, it is a 'timeless' image, the kind i most favour. My only problem is the issue of the dark objects at the right frame edge - leaves of the tree? I wouldn't crop it any further, but a bit of photoshop cloning could eliminate that minor distraction...
Beautiful.

It's Hip-Hop, baby. Anger sells. Anger, lethargy.... it's Platinum, baby.

...but, i'm seeing a black negative edge on the top left edge of this image. You can clone it away or crop it off easily enough....

One of the most powerful images i've ever seen.

Hello, Craig. Don't know if you'll remember me, but we were neighbors for quite a while. You were young, but your brother Keith and i were very close friends. I'm impressed by your work, and i had no idea you had a photography interest - but, then, i don't think i've seen you since you were maybe 10-11 years old. I did see your parents a few years ago, when i was visiting my father....
Please say hello to everyone for me, especially Keith, and pass along my email address if you could (stanton.dvx@verizon.net).
