  1. heres my horror story. I go away on vecation to tour the spanish

country side....wile im away there is a couple who is house sitting

for me....when I come back to print all of my lovely photos...

everything has a very magenta cast to it where there was none before.

The couple claims to have only used the computer for email. I have an

epson photo stylus 2200 and am using photoshop 7 (for pc). I have

tried many combinations of settings in the print preview box,

including my old settings which were untagged rbg and printer color

management, but everything comes out withe the exact same color cast.

when I run the printers cleaning system and print head check

everything checks out. I have uninstalled photoshop and reinstalled

it and nothing seems to work. If anybody could help me out it would

    be great. thank you

  2. My girlfriends grandfather recently passed away and long story short

I came to poses his old leica. I have always drempt of owning a

leica and am very excited to have one, only problem is... I cant

really find any more info on it because I dont really know what

model it is. I was hoping you could help me out a bit. Here is all

that is writen on the camera:

on the top :Leica No. 172172 Ernst Leitz wetzlar D.R.P

    on the lense mount: mtr

    on the bottom: auf zu

on the lense: leitz elmar f=5cm

ill try and descibe how it looks a bit too.

it is a matte silver camera with a black grip. On the top, it has a

winding wheel (not lever) with a counter on it.

It doesnt have a back that opens (mabe all leicas are like this, I

dont know) but rather has a bottom that pops off.

If anybody could help me out it would be great

  3. I have heard of the wonders of epsons grey balancer that was not

provided with the 2200 for some odd reason. I want it. I need it. Is

there any way I can get it? I really dont care if its "leagle" or

not". as I believe in utilitarian morality, the happiness that my

beautiful black and white prints will bring to others far out weighs

the loss to epson, thus getting it any way posible is the only moral

    course of action.
