Hello everyone,
I am getting vignetting on the top of the screen of Hasselblad
500CM (only when viewing), in other words I don't see a full
frame coverage on the viewfinder of the Hasselblad. The top
side of the screen is blackened for about half a grid's creen. This
only happens with my CF/ 120mm macro lens, but then, I only
have another lens (80mm). I haven't seen any vignetting on film it
is only when viewed on the viewfinder, either prism or the
original.
Yur help is greatly appreciated, Lilo, Canada

I have been using Metz 45 CT 4 with my Nikon F3 for a while.
Recently I purchased Nikon F100 and am wondering weather I'd
be better of using Nikon SB 80X flash with Nikon F100?
The features of the Nikon SB 80X seem to be exciting, but what
worry me is the output power.
Is Nikon SB 80X a match or close to Metz 45 CT 4 as far as
power is concerned?
Your help will be greatly appreciated

I have been looking to purchase a Hasselblad 40mm lens, but
they seem to be quite expensive. In the meantime I noticed that
some Hong Kong dealers (if they are dealers) sell this lens for a
lot less than local dealers, here in Canada any way. However, I
am told that these are gray market lenses.
Can any one explain to me what does gray market exatly mean?
Are these so called gray market lenses the same as the ones
one would buy from the local dealers?
Your feedback is much appreciated, Lilo, Canada

I have heard that Hong Kong dealers sell photo equipment for
much cheaper. Does any one know anything about this, and if
so, I'd appreciate if I can get links of the reputable dealers.
I am looking for a Nikon F100, but havn't got much money to
spend.
Thank you very much, Lilo

I have been using Kodak's 35mm black & white infrared fillm in
the past, but thought if I take a few shots with Hasselblad would
look much nicer. To my dissapointment I learned (so I am told by
the camera salesperson) that kodak does not make a black &
white infrared film in the 120mm format. I am also told that none
of the other brand names such as: Ilford, Konica, and another
German (I forget the name) brand don't come close to Kodak's
35mm b & w infrared film. Konica (I am told) is better but very
hard to come by, at least here in Canada.
Is there any 120mm black & white infrared film that comes close
to Kodak's 35mm version.
Thanks a lot, Lilo

Hello everyone,
I am looking into buying a 35mm film scanner and am cought
between Nikon Coolscan 4000ed and Minolnta Dimage Scan
Elite 5400
Can anyone tell me how does Minolta (model above) compares
with Nikon 4000ED. Aside offering a bigger size scan, does it
have as good of image quality as the Nikon 4000ED?
Your help is greatly appriciated, Lilo
