Thanks for all your good advise. I will try both the AI Servo and manual focus tonight. I would feel better about manual focus if I had a spilt image screen like I have on my pentax, but the 10D doesn't offer that option. Thanks again.

Hi there,

 

I've been shooting some college basketball, but am having some

problem getting the camera to fire at the prime moment I want. Last

night I was shooting with a 50 1.4 lens under the basket. My ISO was

800, with around an f/2 to 1.8. I was also shooting in AI focus. I

would be focusing on the player driving for the basket, but as soon

as I move the camera to follow him up to the basket the camera won't

fire for about a second. Like it was at of focus and searching.

Does anyone know of some different setting I could use or a different

technique. Thanks!

I had Bill work on a screen for my Yashica Mat 124G and it made a big difference. I don't know how much it will improve the existing screen, but when working in dimmly lit rooms any improvement is worth it.

I want to have Bill Maxwell run his process to allow more light

through the view screen of my EOS 10D. I could just send Bill the

one in my current camera, but that would leave the camera unuseable

for that time. Where can I purchase another one. I have looked at

B&H but didn't find one for this model. Thanks for your help!

Is there away to upload more then one photo at a time. I would like

to upload photos from the same event to a folder and doing it one

photo at a time is time consumingif I have 30 or 50 photos to do.

Can anything be done? Thanks!

I have read some of the messages about pricing your work. They have

been very informative. I have been looking for some software that

will aid me in determining some price and will help track my work. I

have only come across two programs so far, FOTOQUOTE and one by a

company called Hindsight. Can anyone give me advise about any

software programs they are using. Thanks!

I have an Epson 1280 printer and have started to experiment with

some of Epson's other papers, like premium luster, enhanced matte,

and semigloss. However I have found that these are not supported in

my paper seletion. Is there a driver from epson that I can use or

do I just choose the closest paper seletion in my current options?

I just purchased a used Epson 1280 and am very happy with the quality

I am getting, but the speed is terrible. I must not have something

set right. It takes about 10 minutes to do an 8x10 print that was

downloaded from my Canon S30. I have a HP 800 MGHz with only 128

SDRAM. I am using the high speed parallel cable. If anyone can

give me some suggestions I would appreciate it.
