I do see the reason why people are trying to do somthing. Bravo. How about this: introduce the period of time when the uploaded photos are not visable in photographers portfolio : someting like 3-7 days. They could be viewed in critics forum but no name of photographer would be shown. No name ! Not easy to get mates rates! 3-7 days are gone photos secured their position in the charts and they apear for everyone to view in photographers portfolio. So , critics forums with photos but no names . Last 24 hrs and 3days ups but the only order would be the date and time of upload. Then , we look at the photos them self not photographers , even when gone to photographers potfolio it wont be wisable till the 3-7 days period is gone....no mate rating. Still, I think you should retur an otion of rating to everyone ( Ann is the onl one I tried to rate and was not able to) and find better alternative. Regards PK.

I work with Eos 50E and Speedlight 380 and would like to mount the

flash on the tripod connecting to the camera with off cord (Canon

dose one with approx. 1 meter lenght). Original lead with hot shoe is

too short for my needs and would like to extend it However Jessops

who sells the cord will charge me an extra 100 pounds for a few meter

extension. Is there anyone who knows how safe is it to cut the cord

in the middle and fit an extra few meter extension? How many wires

cable do I need ? What resistance am I looking at ? How long can that

be ? Thanks for all your input.

Iam also interested in B&W printing and Piezography seems to be the way to go but I dont think I can efford it at the moment. However I look at some US sites and the prices seemd much better. Dose anyone know if getting inks and soft from US wil add extra duty costs ?

I am planing to but a telezoom. Usually I go for Canon lenses but

Sigma F2.8 is about the same price and is lighter and quicker.

Iam looking for a good lens for head shots and Iam not sure which of

them to buy. I was wondering if 70-200 F4 L will give me enought blur

in the backgrounds or I should go for 135 f2.8.

What is you opinion ?

I've had my EOS50 for 2 years and now its time to move on...I was

looking around on the internet to see if there is any chance to save

some pounds ( Iam in UK) but generaly most site offer the same prices.

Then I looked on some American Site and that seems to make a

diffrence.

I just wonder if you guys know where I can find best deals, and feel

safe by ordering from USA .

What about warranty? If anything goes wrong, Do I need to send them

back to USA ?
