Back in 1977 I bought one of the 1st Mamiya 645's. It proceeded to drive me nuts with skipped exposures and screwed up winding. Try shooting a wedding with somthing like that, luckily I had a Rolliecord V as a back up. Even sent it to mamiya for warrenty work and they never told me what was wrong. Ended up selling it a couple of years later. After 28 years without one, I now own 5 of the damn things, being so cheap now, Haven't had a problem with these yet (why do I have 5??????) (to get the lenses and and other pieces in the offerings). Now I have my Canon 20d to fall back on if these fail me.......

Very nice scan job! and of course, the picture too! What were your scan settings? I've got the same scanner but haven't used it in a while. I just started packing an Ansco speedex and it does sloooow you down compared to my Canon 20d Digital. It's just too easy and I have to fight laziness.......

I tried and love COstco's "Kirkland Premium Photo glossy paper" great results printing in monochrome awesome neutral black tones, even used the warm setting and achieved an "agfa bromide dark brown tint with it. I had problems with Ilford's smooth glossy but I'm sure I will find the right settings to make it work.

I have been buying ink for my Epson 1280 for over a year now from Ebay vendor "Abacus 24-7". just bought 10 color cartridges for a total of 50.65 including shipping. The ink is fantastic! only had a problem with one cart the cyan wasn't printing so I just run the head cleaning twice and the problem went away. I would say that I have went thru about 30 of the color carts so far.
