Every war, every conflict -- anyone with a conscience/brain cells/a pulse should be forced to look at this shot before they engage in their conflict.
Beautiful composition...I feel cold just looking at it. A+++

This picture involuntarily makes me chuckle. I like it. Please edit out the glass lamp shade behind the subjects. It's annoying me! :)

Incredibly done. I would hang this on my wall! I can't help but stare into it and feel comforted by the infinite lines crossing each other.

My macaw, QWERTYbird, at 16 months. Tripod, external flash, 1/60sec
at 85mm.
Technically as a pet portrait -- how do you see it? Is it successful?

Bay Ridge!!! B64 bus line!!!! Yayyy!!!! (I live in the middle of nowhere in TX now where I have to call 911 about cows in the middle of the highway...I kid you not.)
Ok, totally off topic, but I like it. The only thing I don't like is the orange shirt fighting for attention with the thrown away toy box in the trash. Did you take this on 4th avenue and 86th street, near the KayBee toys?

FABULOUS. You have really captured the energy of 7th Avenue!!!!

Love it! Makes me homesick.
How do you do the sketchy effect without ruining the details and maintaining a photolike quality? It is intriguing.

My baby macaw, Qwerty, modeled for this picture. I am hoping that this
will accentuate the tiny details that make even the most beautiful of
critters what they are. I appreciate your critiques. Thank you!

"Him"...or shall I say, "He," creates a perfect balance to this image. :-)

If you didn't say it was their daughter, I would have been like "Oh, well I guess the guest who was the parent of this child will think it's a cute memento from so-and-so's wedding." The fact it IS the bride and groom's child makes it great because the composition makes a great bridge between the union of the man and his wifey. :-)

Loving the way the spots mirror in the snow-flecked shrubs!

I adore these brilliant sweet critters :D
I recognized what it was immediately which gave me a little jump for joy :D
I like the composition. The little bit of a reflection in the eye gives it so much life...I can see the happy grin on the Hyacinth Macaw's face just from the eye. And, I love the detail!

I like the concept. It reminds me of a 1980's Britpop album cover. I would like to see this without the notepad, also. It would look great in a black and white finish, also. :)

I like it. I didn't really pick up an "attitude" (at least not a bad attitude :-) ) to be honest, but the angles and the pose suit her and her appearance. The thumbnail of this picture is interesting because it looks like she's pointing in two different directions, giving her a standoffish appearance...almost like asking an apathetic stranger for directions on a dark, stormy night. :-)
I find the necklace slightly distracting and I might clone/erase it out but I could just be nitpicky. lol
She is a very interesting looking person to photograph!

I think I will be doing more shots of pets over time to get a portfolio. I
have 8 of my own. This is Luna, aka "Fat Lulu Butt." She is nearly 3
years old and is a Congo African Grey. She lives with her friend, Olive, a
Timneh African Grey, whom she has re-named "OlliOlliOlliOlliOlli."
I took this shot, desaturated it to black and white (though you'd hardly
notice with an African Grey, haha) and then brought her bright yellow
eye back in. Does this work for you, or should I put her eye back to
greyscale?
Do you like the composition, or is it too tight? I tried to get the feeling of
coyness, because she's a tease and she knows she's beautiful. (You'd
have to see the way she blushes at herself in the mirror and purrs at her
reflection, lol!)

Where is he? All I see is his Nowhere Land ;-)
Spooky cold shot!

How do you feel about the content and layout of this image? Do the
subdued colors suit the general weather of the day? What do you
generally think of this image? Thanks.

Seals, sleeping on the pier in a coastal city in Oregon. :-)
General thoughts, opinions? Any changes needed?

I adore the composition of this image. Great work, beautiful colors. You should definitely sell this one as a poster or print!
