What does everyone think of this? Are the changes an improvement from

I went to a local park yesterday to go walkign around and shooting,

and this ended up being one of my favorite shots of the day. What do

you think?

Man, that's quite an impressive shot. I wish I had been into photography when those big comets came by.

 

But did you bump the tripod or something? The fuzziness of the tree in the foreground is really all that's holding this back from being a great image.

Was that the kit lens?

Well, I'm starting to get some better photos online...starting with

protest photos I've been shooting.

I've got a minolta 50mm/1.7...I wonder if that could do the same? What sort of adapter is needed? is it dependent on the thread size of the lens? My 50mm uses 55 mm filters, so I suspect that canon's 58mm adapter wouldn't do the trick.

How did you get so close? My G1 can't do that!
