Don't overlook renting equipment also. Here's a couple of places that are pretty reputable: <br> <a href="http://www.lensprotogo.com">lensprotogo.com</a>

IMHO, if you really need business cards you should have a company do them. They come out sooo much nicer than if you do it yourself.

I think Gary Fong is the perfect example of "build it and they will come." Talk about being a marketing guru...
-
So if there's no other way, then how do you explain the ones who go out there start at the bottom and work their a$$ off until one day they're a feature article in Rangefinder and their work is amazing?? Is it just pure luck?? I don't think so.

Try these...

www.graphistudio.com - They have a UK office

Stephen,
Don't know why they were entered that way.
It keeps acting up.

White House Custom Color is now offering there version of the photobook too. They look nice, I have yet to order one though. It seems as though everybody is now jumping on the bandwagon with the photobooks. Jonesbook offers a real nice type of book like this but man are they expensive. I guess it's true about you get what you pay for. Anyone order one from WHCC yet?

You're pulling our leg aren't you, you're really some high paid fashion photographer aren't you? :) Amazing work, whoever said it above was right, they should be coming to you and not you going to them. It's work like that, that inspires all of us to do better and push ourselves even farther. Best of luck to you!

Hey Marc,
Don't know if you've tried them, but H&H Color Lab out of MO still processes negs and will scan them. They also still print optically! So far their customer service has been excellent! www.hhcolorlab.com

Even though they're not real cheap, I would recommend buying a template from BluDomain. They're designed specifically for photographers. www.bludomain.com As far as hosting goes, have you looked at GoDaddy.com?
-
Gina,
Just like Michelle, I control my reprints. I use Collages.net for proofing and my reprints are ordered from H&H Color Lab.

Everything but the actors in "300" was done digitally, including the backgrounds. Good luck on recreating that effect..... :)

<i>"I have heard that people can make $5000 / wedding shooting weddings. First off, is that true?! Second, how do
I get to that place?"</i>
Yes that's true.
<br>
Time, and working your a$$ off.
<br>
The best way to start shooting weddings is assist/second shoot with an established pro.
<br>
Realize that weddings are hard work and not something you can just go into on a whim.
<br>
Also, you need to know how to market yourself to those who can afford you.
