Thank you for your comments. It was a very disturbing site when I came across it. I didnt know whether I should photograph it or not at the time. It took a while to convince myself that sometimes it might be necessary to photograph death just as much as it is to photograph life. We sometimes see too many images to life and forget that death is also a part of life.

Thanks Craig! As a matter of curiosity, what if this was taken on a 35mm? Would a Canon EOS 300 have been able to capture the exposure? I'm new to the digital, and since I cant go back and try the same shot again, was wondering if you knew.

    Hi,

Can you give me tips on this photo and any other tips on River

landscapes or water body landscape shots. For example, I want to try

and understand the exposure requirements of water versus sky versus

Land. In the above photo, sky and water seem to be alright, but the

trees on the side are dark. The faraway trees are exposed right and

    seem to be clear green.

    Thanks!

How could I improve on the picture?

I had an exposure of F11 with 1/250 and I needed to focus in advance

on the ground. Should I have used a different angle?

    Hi,

I took this photograph of a traditional tribal woman selling her

    wares in Hampi, India.

The scanned imagine is not really upto the mark, but I would like an

    opinion on the composition etc.
