Another shot of my favorite pier at Hearst State Beach in San Simeon, CA.

A gigantic slab of rock jutting out to sea. It's not easy to judge
the scale but from my vantage point I'd say it was about 80 feet wide
by 60 feet deep. Shot at Montana De Oro State Park, CA.

Shot at Bombay Beach at the Salton Sea, CA. I'm not sure what this
structure used to be but it looked interesting to me.

Another shot from the San Jacinto Wildlife Area in Lakeview, CA. I
saw this dry creek bed and thought it would make a nice lead-in. The
new grass (or whatever it is) also looked great. So I started
shooting this in overcast light but the sun peeked in below the clouds
and showered this area with this awesome light.

I was hoping to get a fisherman or a boat in the shot but no such
luck. Any comments or critiques are appreciated.

This shot of Rainbow Falls was made with three exposures (-1, 0, +1) and it's my first attempt at HDR. The light was so harsh and contrasty that I couldn't get a good result with a single shot so I figured I would try it with three.

Shot at South Lake in Bishop, CA Oct 8th 2009. I really hate clear blue skies, I mean I almost don't want to shoot at all on clear days. But this turned out ok.
