Got the image. Actually the fisherman was taking the break. I've been back for 10 year. I long to go back all the time however. How did you lighten up the fisherman?
Thanks for the suggestions.

Trying my hand this weekend at using Layers, Smart Blur and
Brushes. What do you think? Next time I'd make the frame the
lavendar color in the flower.

Ralph, Here is the original photo.

Please tell me what you think good and bad.

Bryan,
What is the story behind this photo?

Dennis - thanks for the suggestion. I'm new to using digital tools and did not even think about the dust filter. I'll play with it and see what improvements I get. I'll post them here for others to learn from. Its going to be two weeks before I do so. Traveling for business for 10+ days.
Cheers

WOW. Very striking. I love the color saturation and the surreal look.

I feel like I'm propelled back into the dark ages.

Excellent. I really like the contrast between the pads in the background and the flower. It has an ethereal quality to it. Nicely done.

Excelent. I like the way the clouds draw your eyes to the back of the glacier and then back out to the front. Very nice.

Lovely. What a relaxed and sophisticated pose for such a young subject. I love the sepia tone like quality. What Digital manipulation did you use to get this effect?

I like this image but you might want to make sure the young ladies eyes are a little more in focus. Faces generally look best when the eyes are in focus.
