    Hypnotiq fog

          2

This image was shot with 5 lights. One to underlight the bottle. 2 on

teh sides for teh highlight son teh bottle and 2 more from below to

cross light the fog. The bottle is sitting on a mirror. Fog machine

    between subject and background.

No manipulations in photoshop- just sharpening and cropping.

I have been trying my hand at product lighting. If you like this

photo, please take a look at teh other images in my gallery.

    Thanks.

    Watch

Hope you like this photo. I know the hands position coudl be better.

My conception was to have horizontal elements in a vertical frame-

hence the positioning of teh background light, teh watch and teh

lower light. teh only element of colour in aan essentially b&w photo

    is teh watch logo.

  1. I signed in just to write something about this photo.

The timing, great. The colors- a very good choice of going for a vivid look, adds to the energy of the shot. Muted colrs wouldnt do this photo justice. The silhouette works great as a dark shape, pointing at the sun.

    Couple in Love

Shot at ISO 1600- lit by campfire light.

I darkened the surrounding, desaturated the image. I like the

expression of the two and the overall composition of the image. let

me know what you think !

  2. I am not a bike person, I was merely trying to put the old one for

sale. However, when I was taking the photos, I realised that the

colour yellow would be a great contrast to the rest of the image

    which was largely monochromatic.

Also, the crank has a nice gritty feeling and the wet pavement and

the lines and circles fit in well.

I dont upload too many images, mostly because I am not satisified

with most of them, but this just seemed too good not too share.

  3. This was shot about 6 in the evening. The sun had set, but I still needed 2 filters to cut ddown enuf to get 30 seconds.

Some of you have said that there is a color shift- I found it surprising too. As far as I knew it is colour films (Velvia for example) which would show this effeect due to assymetric response to freq.- I had thought digital sensors would be immune to this.

As for thwater effect I know it is cliched. But as they say- first emulate the cliche, get it out of your system and then go and do something original. I havent yet got to the original stage, so I am still trying to emulate the cliches.

The poster look is because I had initially prepared this image for print, and this is how I had wantd it.

    Thanks for all the critiques.

    Venezia.

Not too many people would attempt this photo like u've done. The contrats betwen the light and dark is too much- one would think- but you've done a great job here- I like the sharp silhouttes and the narrow receding sides.

    Good job keep it up
