  1. OK here is the problem. Im a beginning photographer and recently

bought an M7 and a Noctilux. First pictures (which were B&W

developed/printed as color) came out nicely.

My second set of 4 rolls of B&W film taken during my holiday were

messed up by the lab.(these were proper B&W films which were wrongly

developed by the cornershop) As a result the prints are very low

in contrast. After this experience I can see the following options

    for the future:

-A) Develop my own B&W films and go digital. I have no space in my

apartment for doing any wet printing. In this case I have to buy a

    scanner and printer.

-B) Take B&W pictures but have them developed and printed in

    color processing equipment.

-C) Have the B&W work done in a professional lab.

-D) Only take color pictures and have them done in the cornershop

My aim is to learn to take good pictures of any kind (sorry not to be

    more specific)

Anybody who has been confronted with the same problem ?

    Any advice ?

  2. I have noted that most sellers in the US charge well over $2000 for

the Leica 50mm F1 lens. Cambridge Camera in NYC advertise them on

    their site for $1748 ?! What's the difference ?

(apart from the price of course) Is it the warranty ? Different

    quality ?
