This bridge was made obsolete by a concrete version running parallel

to it. This great work of metal is now scheduled for destruction and

I wished to create an honourable portait. What do you think?

Hi Jack, thanks for your comments. I've been using the rule of thirds many times, after some time it becomes somewhat artificial, so I tried to do it a little differently and this is the result. No offence taken though!
  1. I like this picture a lot, but in my humble opinion the soil on the base of the picture and the grass don't add to the whole. By removing the lower quarter, the picture as a whole becomes more powerful. The image will be reduced to it's essence. Kind regards, Vincent

When I look at the window pane I think that it would have been nicer if it was declining a bit more OR it should have been parallel to the horizon, not a little bit of both

I think that maybe the image would have been stronger if you had reduced it a little bit more to just the birds and left the leaves on the right hand side and below away

Maybe the picture would even be better if you changed the format, cutting both left and right off... Then you'll keep the colors, but you'll get rid of the trees on the left, which takes your attention away from the couple because it's so bright... The colors in the foreground are excellent!

Placing your model close to the lightsource makes the picture seem deeper, with more relief, I can't seem to figure out her facial expression which intrigues me deeply..
