in architecture, i tend to prefer minimal distortion and vertical lines that look vertical in the photo, not slanted. as with landscape, i prefer medium format upwards and not 35mm. but of course i could imagine a prefectly interesting series of architectural photos where these principles are not followed. if that's the case, and i see five or ten pictures taken in the above manner, something might start to click in me. as it is, on its own, i'm afraid that distortion bothers me.
