Thanks

Thanks Emmanuel. These people were not just tourists but pilgrims, and as far as I can judge they were quite serious about "the stations", singing songs etc... Honest Catholics I would say...

Catholic Pilgrims walk the Via Dolorosa up to the Church of the Holy
Sepulchre. By many believed the location of Golgotha, the place where
Jesus Christ was crucified.

Nice picture, and very characteristic of old city Jerusalem indeed. Thnx for sharing

Anny comments/critiques appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks!

I like this one, but I would have tried the same kind of shot with a strong wide-angle lens. The tones are great though!

Almost surreal!
Beautiful!

Very nice! A little more sharpness/shorter exposure would be nice though. However, delicate shot...

You did a good job capturing a lack of inspiration...

Keep them coming!

Believe me, I'm an astronomer; DOF plays no role in these kind of pictures. For objects in focus at these distances, the depth of field is practically infinite. Even at large apertures... And you can't change that, unless you have a 1000 km sized camera...
BTW, it's a beautiful picture!

A bit more depth of field would improve the image. It's very good like this, but it can be perfect, i think...

Thanks David, Mike, Paul, Loft, and John, for your comments. And yes John, I was experimenting with my new 19mm. I can assure you that this ass wasn't really that big...

Hey folks,
This is one of my first attempts to make an ultra wide angle picture
using PS photomerge. Please leave your comments and critiques here!
Cheers,
