I don't remember ever seeing a real nude as Photo of the week. Naybe because there's alot of it that's just not good enough, which in turn increases the risk of controversy. Others are great works but explores the extreme, bizarre or could by some be claimed Pornography. None of this apply to this uniquely beautiful piece of art. It is simply wonderful, even moving, touching, which is very unusual for a nude (in the true meaning of these words). Thanks for great inspiration and education. 7/7!

I've looked at this for a very long time, trying to make up my mind about it. On the one hand, it's ordinary in it's content. Not that it's not a good photo, it's just an average picutre of some trees and a sky. On the other hand, there's something. How else, can I keep looking, wondering? I've decided that I like it very much, and I think I understand now why. The texture is unique, almost turns it into an abstract. The number of greens seem endless in a way only a painting can provide. The lively sky and cloud formations contribute to the depth of the greens. Fasinating work with colors!

Taken under very difficult conditions in a dark cave with sediment in
the water, the shot itself is as good as it gets. What could I have
done better in the digital darkroom?

I found a distinct beauty in the decay of this little house and it's
door. Especially the muted colors attracted attention. Yet, I'm not
quite happy with the cropping I've done, and a frame would probably
improve impression as well. Any idea's, comments, suggestions?

I liked the motive, the drama of the clouds eating that mountain top,
and the drawings of the sunlight. Yet, the contrasted nature of the
picture I found very difficutl to work with. Copmments, Ideas,
critique, proposals?

Indiscussably a fine shot (And I tend to agree about the breasts, although I know one close...:-) However, the way you've cut the hand off the arm disturbs me. What's the reason for your choice?
-
I love this kind of Photography. It's a sculpture, and I'm very envious. Have made a very similar one. Although my intentions were different, I can see I have to work on my technical abilities:-)

Like yours too, jonathen! i might consider playinjg a bit with the crop. I tried to download and crop it tightly to compare to mine, but couldn't get it in sufficient quality. Could be interesting to see, as the quality, sharpness, light etc, of yours is much better than mine.

Excellent nude, very aesthetic, very sexy at the same time. Just... What is that birght thing in the upper left corner? Vey distracting, to me it's the only thing keeping it from being a perfect nude and a perfect photo!

Not least on a freezing, clear winternight this is a place many
children remember with a scary feeling...
For a snapshot, it seems to me this came out fairly OK, but would
like to hear your opinion and ideas.
-
Another (maybe) lucky snapshot. What do you think?
-
So close to perfect it hurts. That's the one picture I was trying to find and take when I was there. I can see I failed completely:-)!
-
I consider Portraits is my weakest point. This is merely a snapshot,
but seems to me I was fairly lucky, and makes me want to try and
learn more. Any proposals, ideas, critiques?

I took two pictures like this of the Stork fountain in central
Copenhagen, Denmark, one late clear winter afternoon; One with and on
without flash. Seems to me this one taken with flash has more to
offer than the other one. Any opinions, thought and ideas appreciated!

Peter, Thanks. It's in the small island state of Mauritius in the Indian ocean, Called Pamplemousses Botanical gardens. Highly Recommendable:-)!

Lush enough? Comments on composition, colors, other?
-
I like how the smoke/steam takes this from a good to a greatly dramatic shot! ood work!
-
lovely portrait! I like the softness and the light. Seems a bit unsharp though.
-
Ideas for improvements? Should it be rotated, was it sharpened too
much? Colors, texture?
-
Daniel, thanks for your efforts. You know, my first reaction when I saw your adjustments was, like, Hey there's the original. It lost it's sharpness in the compression I suppose. I actually have it hanging on my wall, printed in 40*60 cm, and it's still sharp and colorful. I'm quite impressed, have to find time to do some similar work to some of my other African shots.

Thanks alot, Mark. As a PS beginner, I really appreciate your comments. Will see what I can get out of it.
