Nice use of dept of field. I especially like how the boy still has his eyes open. -
The soft focus was added digitally using Photoshop's diffuse glow filter. In the future I'll upload larger files.

I have to add a vote to the color. I think the B&W lacks the depth that the color one does. I'm a fan of B&W, but not in this case.

I like this photo much more than the others of her. It is a really nice moment where she doesn't seem aware of the camera. It's also not your typical pose and I think it works well.

I don't mind that it's not original. I really like the idea of each bench having its own story. Some of them are a little hard to make out and I'd like to see this as a huge print, mabie 20 feet long. And I think that momument in the middle is too distracting.

When you consider the amount of film I use on this cat I'm bound
to get a good one. But, I still think I grabbed a good moment and
was able to get some detail in both the shadows and the high
midtones in the background.
