Wonderful, mystical shot. I really like this.

I took this photo of a bare tree on an ancient tomb mound in a small
valley near Kyungju, Korea, on a clear winter afternoon. I think this
image captures the silence and loneliness of the place. Any comments
or constructive criticism would be appreciated.

Nice compososition and color. But with so much detail, more depth of field would be better. I think you have some wasted focal range in the unseen foreground.
-
Beautiful, evocative - archaeology of the mind.

There is something surreal and otherworldly about this photo. A superb composition. Truly beautiful.

I like this shot a lot. The dark brooding background and sky, and the sunlit foreground with dry grass and bare bushes are nicely balanced. Wonderful atmospheric piece.

The shed itself and its reflection are what is interesting. If you used a telephoto lens, and framed the shot horizontally instead of vertically, you could have cut out much of the unnecessary blank foreground (with the out-of-focus grass) and the unnecessary blank sky. I think that would have made a much more effective composition.
Did you use a tripod? That would have made the details sharper.

The graveyard of the old silver mining town of Real de Catorce, on a
clear winter morning.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Great composition! But a bit later in the afternoon might have given you kinder light.
-
Wonderdul framing. Unique view. And the wisp of cloud near the top makes it just right.
-
Beautiful composition. The subtle tone of the glass lamps adds just the right touch to this almost-monochrome photo.
-
Beautiful soft colors, nice forms. I like this shot. But I think the tip of the out-of-focus bud in the foreground is distracting and somewhat spoils the overall composition.

A lone tree on the sweltering red plains of Chihuahua shelters three
white stones.
What could I do better? What don't you like? Any honest critique is
most welcome.

The sky is too starkly blue, I think. Did you clean it up in PhotoShop?
-
Beautiful shot. But the dark vignetting wedges in the upper corners are distracting.
-
Very nice - but too dark. And you need to clean up your scan. The dust specks are a big minus in an otherwise lovely photo.
-
Beautiful! Wonderful composition, with lovely details. A very thoughtful piece.
-
I enjoy your approach. Nice use of textures and natural details. Excellent work.

Thank you for your comments.
I agree with you both about the third stone. This reminds me of the game of Go - we must place every stone with careful deliberation. There is no second chance.

Objects assembled by the sea, but reassenbled by me. Am I guilty of
intervention?

Beautiful, evocative, moody. Very nice work.
Are you from Croatia, by the way? I drove through there YEARS ago - and some of your pictures seem like familiar places.
-
Beautiful piece. Very powerful and evocative.

It might be even better if you cropped about 10% off the top. That way you could get rid of the distracting white patches of sky showing through the foliage.
The bare branch sticking down from the top is also distracting and adds nothing, but the branches in the lower foreground, overhanging the rushing water, are a nice touch.
Overall, a very pleasing composition.
