Hi Peter,
If it is anything like the Well Standard #1 it was made around 1939 by Nihon Koki Co. in Japan. Rollfilm camera with telescoping front. Styled like a 35mm camera. Takes unusual image size of 4x5cm for 10 exposures on 127 film. Eye-level and waist level finders. Well Anastigmat f4.5/65mm in NKK shutter, T, B, 25-150, or Well Anastigmat f3.5/65mm in Well-Rapid 1-500 shutter. From McKeown's Camera Guide 97/98. Hope this helps.

For 127 film in Canada you need look no further than www.frugalphotographer.com, they're in Calgary, prices are reasonable and if they don't carry it, you really don't need it. : ) Hope this helps and Merry Christmas from a fellow Canuck. Curt in Canada.

That's the thing about girlfriends, they let you do almost anything you want. Funny how something changes once that ring is on and it's now OUR time and OUR money. : ) Have a Merry Christmas everyone.

My wife once said," If something were to happen to you, I don't know how I'd get rid of your cameras." I wondered if she had something in mind, or was I imagining the food tasting strange lately? Actually, she's pretty good about it all. Yesterday I bought a black Minolta SR-1 and lenses from a friend.(He threw in a Rollie A110 and flash) She just said the usual, "That's nice."

Thanks Alessandro,
I'm just a bit embarrassed that I put these shelves up quickly for the photos and didn't have time to paint or stain them. By the way, most shelves are two cameras deep as I'm running out of display room. Not as many as some IDCC members, but I'm trying to do my part. : )

My best finds so far: at an estate sale, a prewar Contax ll RF with Summitar (needed shutter curtain ribbon repair) and an EXA (minus lens) for $1.00 Can. Traded the Contax to a friend for a beautiful Olympus OM 10 and an Olympus 200mm. From E**y, an Edixa Edissimat LTL SLR fully functional but dirty, for $1.00 US + shipping. Also from E**y, all in one lot and just as clean as the day they were made, a Yashica Lynx 5000, a Zeiss Ikon Symbollica, an Agfa Optima ll S and a Konica Auto S2. All for $30.00 US. Wierdest one so far, a SEM-Kim and a Vivitar flash plus two crappy cameras for $3.00 US.

I've used my TX in -35F many times taking pictures of ice racing cars and had no problems at all.(except fingers and toes freezing).

Hi Michael, your Voightlander Vito CLR was made in 1962, has a
coupled range finder and of course, like all voightlanders is
collectible. It's listed in McKeown's Camera and Price Guide (97-98
version, sorry I don't have the newest one yet) on page 430 as common
40-60$ U.S. Hope this helps you a bit.
Kodak 35 Rangefinder Variations

I have two Kodak 35 non-rf versions and 1 RF Kodak 35. When comparing mine to the black versions or plastic knob versions, I noticed they are both more recent than mine so I'm assuming the black was only added for consumer appeal. Look how many people ooh and aaah over the same SLR or RF in black but barely notice the chrome or satin version. Plastic knobs I believe were a cost cutting measure in later models. Remember the all important bottom line...profit margin.
