  1. Summilux35/1.4 ASPH vs. Summicron 35/2 ASPH

I have read some review on web about these lens, but I want to know more like actual user review. As far as I know, At f2, these lens are almost same in quality & performance, only difference is price and one f-stop brightness. Is it really worth to get more expensive Summilux35/1.4 ASPH than Summicron35/2ASPH? If there is no quality difference, I would like to get more compact Summicron35/2ASPH. Please share your opinion... Thanks again. www.welcome.to/studionaki

  2. Thanks for advice. Is there anyone who knows the physical size

in "mm" of both 35/2 & 35/2asph lens? I want to know the length

difference in millimeter scale between thses two lens when they are

attached on M6 body. Also, Could you tell me about where I can get

the late 35/2 model and the resonable price range of late 35/2 chrome

model in Mint or New condition? Please let me know, Thanks again...

  3. Thanks for helpful advice about my prior question. I am considering to get a 35mm for my M6ttl. Is there any difference between Late Summicron-M35/2 and Summicron-M35/2 ASPH? As far as I know, optical quality of Summicron-M 35/2 ASPH is better than late 35/2. Is it really noticeable? Also, the price of Summicron-M 35/2 ASPH is higher than late 35/2, but the size of Late Summicron-M35/2 is more compact. Which model is more desirable in aspect of performance, price and size? Please give me a advice for this. Thanks... http://welcome.to/studionaki
  4. Thanks for help. Leica M6 is my latest camera for me, and I am

expecting something from this camera such as excellent quality of

image which I want to make. That is the reason why I am wondering

about this nice camera. Maybe I could not enjoy the taste of Leica

yet. Well, I am using Canon EOS system, Hasselblad system, Toyo 4X5

system and Nikon Digital camera for my photo assignment and self

promoted project. I think Leica is perfect camera for street

photography or Documentary, not for architectural, table top,

commercial works. The reason why I got this Leica is simple. I want

to carry reliable, high quality, and compact camera everytime,

everywhere. I love to record everyday life of these days in my

environment. I think most important and fascinating aspect of

photography is THE RECORDING MOMENT and TIME. Thanks again, and you

can see my works at www.welcome.to/studionaki If you have any

comment or advice for me, please let me know. ^L^....

  5. Thanks for sharing your opinion... Let me tell you about my situation. I had Two Leica M6 TTL and Summicron 50/2, Hexanon-M90/2.8 and Elmarit 28/2.8, but I have sold one M6 and 28/2.8. I am wondering between following option; 1. Sell Summi50/2 & Hexanon90/2.8 and buy Summicron 35/2 ASPH. 2. Keep current system and add 35/2 or 28/2. That's why I posted two more questions on this site. BTW, I have got Hexar Silver 35/2 about 2 weeks ago. I think it is pretty good, but I am not sure about its quality and performance in compare with Summicron 35/2 ASPH. My specialty is in Architectural, Still Life, and Street Photography. You can see my images at www.welcome.to/studionaki. Leica M was, is my dream camera since I had studied photography, and I love to shoot people in the street with M6. Therefore, at least I want to keep this M6 even if I quit photography for any reason. Well, what do you think about this situation? Of course it's up to me, but I want to know your thought. Thanks for help.... ^L^... http://welcome.to/studionaki

  7. I am looking for Wide angle lens for my Leica M6 TTL. Is there anyone know about New Leica 28/2 ASPH? When it will be available? Is this 28/2 ASPH lens or current 28/2.8 more useful wide angle lens compare with Leica 24/2.8 ASPH Lens? How about Konica RF 28/2.8 lens? Also, I am using M6 TTL with Summicron-m 50/2, Konica Hexar Silver for 35/2, and I am looking for Summicron 35/2 ASPH lens, is this really better than Konica Hexar Silver 35/2 Lens? Please share your opinion with me.... Thanks. <http://welcome.to/studionaki>
  8. I am a New Leica M6 TTL with M28/2.8 latest lens User. I have read some article about comparison Leica vs. Konica lens from Japanese

Magazine. According to the magazine lens test, new Konica Hexanon lenses are almost same quality as Leica lens. BTW, I want to know more

practical user report about Konica RF lens like Hexanon 28/2.8 and Hexanon 90/2.8 lens. If the quality of Konica lens is really good as Leica lens, I

think there's no reason to buy 2~3 times expensive Leica lens. If you have any information about Lens Test of Konica M-Hexanon Lens or

Comparison between Konica and Leica lens, please share with me. Thanks. < www.welcome.to/studionaki >

  9. Thanks for a lot of advice about my prior questions(Which Wide angle lens is good for Architecture?/Compact View camera for Architecture & Interior,etc...) I have got a lot of responses from photo lovers. Thanks again. At last I have got Toyo VX125 camera. It is really compact and light weight for field location. However, I think I need extra bellows and monorail like 450~500mm for studio shooting with my 210mm lens. If anyone knows about this, please give me a advice about correct model name. I am still wondering between 65mm and 72/75mm wide angle lens. My budget is tight, so I should take just right one for Architectue and Interior with 4X5 sheet film or 6X7 roll film back. By the way, I have got Toyo 3.6X groundglass focusing loupe and ABS compact camera case for VX125, but I think I do not need them. If someone has interesting with them, please let me know. Thanks. www.welcome.to/studionaki
  10. First of all, thanks for many advice to last posting. Well, I want to know about wide center filter. If I use 65mm or 75mm lens, should I always use center filter? As far as I know, center filter required when camera movement is pretty big or large. Is this true? I am going to get Rodenstock 65mm or 75mm lens for 4X5 camera, but still wondering which one is more useful for architecture and interior shoot. Also, when I use 6X7 roll film back on my Horeseman LX 4X5, which lens is useful? Should I use center filter when I use 6X7 roll film back, too? If you have any advice for this, please tell me about it. Thanks again. www.welcome.to/studionaki
  11. I am looking for wide angle lens for architecture and interior. I am using Schneider Apo-Symmar 210/5.6 and Rodenstock Apo-Sironar-S 135/5.6, Super Angulon 90/5.6XL, but I want more wide like 65mm or 75mm. Which angle lens is better in quality? Also, I want to know which brand - Schneider, Rodenstock & Nikon - wide angle lens is best for architecture and interior. If you have any advice for this, please tell me about it. Thanks. www.welcome.to/studionaki
  12. First, I read a lot of article of M6 finder alignment. Fortunately, my two new M6 ttl do not have any problem of misalignment. However, misalignment looks easy to happen by even little shock. Is this really so esay to happen? If it is true, how can I use this expensive camera without hesitate? Second, M6 finder has only small partial focusing indicator in the center, but it is very good in focusing under dim light. My question is how can I focus precisely the subject which is not in center? In case of SLR, I can focus precisely even though the subject is not in center, but with M6, I could not figure out the focusing on left or right sided subject. Especially, in case of vertical frame for people portrait with 90mm lens, at first I do focusing on face, and then framing again. Sometimes, I can see slight out of focus on face. If anyone know about these problems, please let me know. Thanks.
  13. I am looking for a field camera for architecture and interior. I am using Horseman View 4X5 LX now, but sometimes this is too

big and heavy. As far as I know, Toyo 45AII has more tilt/shift movement, revolving back, Horseman HD is little bit cheap, light

and compact. I can get the New Toyo 45AII around $1,500.00 as Mamiya Student Program, so I don't care the price at this time. I

want to get just what is good for architecture photography. If you have experience to use these cameras, please give me a your

    opinion. Thanks.
