  1. i took this photo a couple of minutes before darkness, it had just

stopped to snow. Sky and snow were already grey, and the hut and

trees were merely discernible. I remember the total silence, my

breathing and my steps were all i could hear. It's possible to

stretch the histogram, and the picture becomes very contrasty, like

in daylight. Somehow i liked this gray version better, and that was

how it looked like. By the way, it's color film, not converted to

b/w. Does it work, how do you like the composition? What would you

have done differently? Like always, I really apreciate your comments

    and suggestions!

thanks for your comments! In the future, I will carry at least a small tabletop tripod even for a walk, i really regret it's a bit blurry due to camera shake. I will try the sharpening, perhaps experimentig with photoshop's find edges tool. And the next time in prague, I will wait for the tram again in that street, with more preparation!

Though I like this picture (I wouldn't ask for critique otherwise)

and it's ok for what it is, a holiday snap, I'm trying to figure out

what's missing to make it really work. In the original, the contrast

betwen the blue, cloudy sky and the yellowish street is much more

dramatic, I'll see to adjust it in photoshop to get this back. I

will go back there trying to make a good picture of this scenery. Of

course with a tripod, to make sure it will be sharp at least. What

would you suggest to make it work? I appreciate your critique, and

    suggestions!
