Has anyone purchased camera equipment from Photo-Graphic Systems in New Mexico? They seem to have some good equipment, but I was just wondering what they're service is like, etc.
<p>
Thanks.

This may be a dumb question, but here goes!
<p>
I'm looking into a lens for an 8x10 camera. I notice that some of the best photos ever taken were with lenses in barrels, not shutters. I'm not too familiar with them, but can you adjust the f-stop on lenses in barrels? Obviously, there's no shutter timer to adjust.
<p>
Also, is anyone familiar with good lens focal range for table top still life photography for 8x10 cameras?
<p>
Thanks for your help.

What is a good focal length for 8x10 table top still life photography? When I was using 4x5, I had a 210mm Dagor. I love the classic lenses and would like to stick to that. Is a 420mm lens good for still life for 8x10? Or should I go with something longer, or shorter?
<p>
Thanks for your help and responses.

I have an older C.P. Goerz Berlin Dagor 210mm lens for my 4x5 camera. On the lens, it also reads "Ser. III" and the number is 60499. Does anyone know if these lenses are coated--either single or double, if at all?
<p>
Will this lens cover 8x10? 11x14? What is its image circle size? What is the difference between the Berlin Dagors and the American-made Dagors? Do both basically have the same coverage?
<p>
I'm wondering when the Berlin Dagors were made.
<p>
Thanks for any help.

I have a 210mm CP Georz Berlin Dagor lens. How can I tell the size of its image circle? Is there a test I can do, or does someone know if there is a standard image circle size for these lenses?
<p>
Thanks.
Any experience with Lens & Repro and/or Photo Habitat?
in Large Format

Has anyone had experience purchasing large format cameras/equipment from Lens & Repro and/or Photo Habitat? I believe both are in New York. I was just wondering what they're reputation is to buy from.
<p>
Thanks in advance for any and all responses.
