Quang-Tuan, thank you for the information. I am considering cutting
larger negatives to the 5 x 7 size also. Do you use a paper trimmer
such as the Rototrim or Dahle? Is cleaning off cutting debris (film
chips) an issue? I'm hoping that normal dust-off procedures as is
typical with film holder loading will be sufficient.
<p>
Thanks again,
Oliver

Does anyone know about availability of 5 x 7 color
transparency sheet film (preferably Fuji)
outside the U.S.A., and/or a source for importing
it into the U.S.? I've been told that neither Fuji
nor Kodak offer 5 x 7 color sheet film in the U.S.
market.
Thanks,
Oliver
E-6 Processed Film stability
in Large Format

I really like the Velvia in large format, but
thought I'd ask what others have heard regarding
the long-term stability of E-6 reversal films such
as Velvia (dark storage in dry room-temperature
environment), after processing. I am hoping for
at least 20 or 30 years or more before color shifts
occur, but I realize that Kodachrome is still the
standard.

Thanks,
Oliver
