This is a Zorzal Colorado....I mean...Rufous-Bellied Thrush.
Thanks for your comments. Nicolas

Thanks you all guys.
Anthony....I see, you are right, but I can`t write the english names as easy as in spanish. Anyway, this is a "Lechucita de las Viscacheras"....I mean...a "Burrowing Owl".
About the sigma....I'm really happy with it. It's big and heavy, not to walk around handhelding it, but it's fast, quiet, and the slides looks pretty sharp in a lupe. This lens is completely diferet than the 170-500.
Nevertheless...I never had a "white" prime lens to compare.
Thanks again. Bye. Nicolas.

Hi,
This is my first post, so I would like to recieve your comments to
help me improve my photos. This A. cunicularia picture is one of
the 12 pics that I put in my folder " wild Pampas ". If you have
time, please visit it.
Rigth now, I'm shooting my number 16th slide roll, so as a beginner,
I'm open to any kind of advise.
To take this photo I used a Canon Elan IIe, and a sigma 50-500 at
500, f:6,7 and unrecorded exposure. Bean bag and my car as support.
Sensia II 100 pushed 1 stop.
Ok, thanks a lot in advanse.

David: Thanks a lot for your comments. I will take your advise and extend the lens hood I actually own (sigma's) with some black plastic.
Anyway, let me tell you that the scans aren't excellent at all....the slides looks quit better.
Bye.
Ps: How long do I have to extend the hood from the glass, david?
