  1. The telescopic extension tube is a fantastic piece of equipment ...especially if it's used with the 80mm and 135mm macro lenses. Buy one ... and then (after you have purchased the 80 and 135 macros) hunt down the 20mm f2 AUTO and 38mm f2.8 AUTO macro lenses (beware- there are slower, MANUAL versions of these two.... which need an adapter-mount before they can be used on the "tele-tube" and bellows). Then purchase the T8 ringflash (not the T10 or T28) and you will have the World's best macro-photographic system.... which can be used on a (film or digital) EOS camera via the now-famous OM-EOS adapter manufactured by Kindai Inc. (Japan). (Yes, I know than Canon produces a manual-focus, up-to-5x-life-size macro EOS lens, and Minolta produce a 2-3x zoom life-size macro lense ... but they are both crap in comparison to the Zuikos). All of these items occur infrequently on Ebay and (as far as the 20 & 38mm lenses and T8 ringflash are concerned)usually attract many bidders and therefore a high price!
  2. Just thought that you would all like to know that Olympus have

announced on their American website that the OM system is to be

discontinued..... so snap up those superb (and expensive) macro

    lenses now!
