This is what I usually do and it seems to work, But try a little bit first just in case. In the case of the Brownie Reflex if this does not work,the metal underneath the front laquer where the name of the camera is, might be corroding. I have also seen some of these cameras with yellow face plates, which I do not know if that is standard or not, or have changed colour over time. Most are a silvery metal colour. Anyway Good Luck...
