1.
Hello,
I recently bought the Nikon D800 and would like to find a way to attach it to my Sinar F1 field camera, so I can get the 4x5 movements and stitch massive files. I'm wondering if anyone out there has direct experience with trying to do this? If so what types of adapters are the best and what are some of the pitfalls to avoid when setting up such a system.
I see that there are a few companies who design adapters. I know Fotodiox http://fotodioxpro.com/ sells an adapter for grafloc backs for $300. Are there better set ups or is this as good as it gets?
I assume I'll have to get recessed lens boards and pick up used digital lenses for a rig like this.....the Rodenstock Apo Sironar Digital lenses come to mind.

Thoughts?

 2. I would like to know if there are any reviews/articles for 4x5 120mm makro lenses. I`m looking for a lens that can deliver top sharpness for large print sizes 40x50 inches and optimum D.O.F in 1:2-1:5 situations.
 3. I`m looking for a 4x5lens that can give me the most depth of field in "Makro" situations. At the same time I need a great shapness quality so I can make large prints (55x55inches). For example these "Makro" situations have the following dimentions: 35-55cm wide by 30-50cm deep. The depth range that I`ve just mentionned is the minimum D.O.F needed. The height might vary from 15 to 40cm. Hope this isn`t too confusing.
 4. Well I just want to know what kind of Depth of Field I can get with a 4x5/5x7 makro 120mm lens; either Rodenstock or Schneider. Is there a sytem of calculation I can do to figure this out? If there isn`t, could you tell me what type of lens to use for a close up covering the aproximate dimensions 15 to 60cm wide by 30 to 70cm deep? This 3 dimentional space also has a height that ranges from 5 to 35cm. If at all possible I would like to keep most of these dimentions in focus. Is there some lens or leses that can pull it off? Cheers.
